New York & London: G.P. Putnam's Sons, 1920. Lady Gregory, friend and patron to the Irish cultural renaissance, was herself a noted playwright and folklorist. "The Dragon" was first performed at the Abbey Theatre in 1919, with Barry Fitzgerald in the lead. This is a Very Good (Minus) copy of the First American Edition. Blue cloth binding with a paper label on the spine. Clean text; 133 pages, with 4 pages of publisher's adverts in the rear. Darkening around the edges and the spine. POS on the FFEP. Front hinge is cracked to expose the webbing. A very servicable reading copy; not for the advanced collector. In an archival plastic protector. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. First American Edition.. Hard Cover. Very Good Minus/No Jacket.
