London: Putnam, 1920. Lady Gregory was a founder, with William Butler Yeats and Edward Martyn, of the Irish Literary Theatre, which would morf into the famed Abbey Theatre. This play was written in 1917 and was first performed in April 1919, with a cast that included Barry Fitzgerald. This is a Very good copy of the softbound edition, which is less common than the hardbound trade editions. Blue-gray paper wraps, with ruling, decoration, and titling in black. Clean text; 89 pasges; with an author's Note and a Cast List for the initial production in the rear. Spine and margins faded; occasional spotting within.. First Thus. Soft Cover. Very Good/No Jacket. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.
