(1st US) Fine dark red cloth spine, pale yellow boards, silver lettering bright on spine, dark red inside covers and adjacent end papers, 519 lightly browned heavy pages, some photos and illustrations. DJ glossy white with illustration of dark yellow dragon and dark red bear on front, red and purple lettering on front and spine, praise on back from William Shawcross, Richard Harris in The Times, Erik De Mauny in Times Literary Supplement. DJ has thin light brown scratch at all top edges, very tiny tear with crease at spine bottom left edge, crease at top tip inside back flap. Very Good DJ/Very Fine book.
