Full black calf binding with gilt lettering to spine. Corners and edges are scuffed and the leather is worn. Hinges are cracked but all pages are intact. Bookplate to front pastedown and also some pencil scribbles. The first page present here is the fold-out map frontispiece, which is torn a little but still complete. Paper is browned, and a few traces of foxing mostly to the outer pages. Several pages have pencil markings and underlining. A good tight copy. 300pp.
