About This Item

London: Hutchinson, 1929. 1st Edition . Hardcover. very good plus/Near Fine. Very scarce British edition in the rare dust jacket. Very good plus with slight shelf wear and a bit of foxing to first few pages and page edges. In a beautiful near-fine dust jacket with the barest trace of foxing and one tiny closed tear. A tongue-in-cheek mystery with supernatural elements. Hichins also wrote The Paradine Case, basis for the Hitchcock film.
