A Dozen Pair of Wedding Gloves. 12mo, original white ornamental colored boards printed in red and green (soiled; spine with some wear), headed at top of front cover, "Illustrated by 'Phiz'", up-lettered printed spine, advertisement on lower cover, wood engraved frontispiece & extra engraved title, p. xvi, 201, [1] blank, [6] ads + 6 wood engraved plates. London: James Blackwood, 1855.
First Edition. Frontispiece, extra-title and two other illustrations engraved by Gilks after Phiz, four other illustrations by other artists. Humorous short stories which the anonymous author has "Dedicated to My Friend Albert Smith." Also found in publisher's red morocco cloth. This fragile issue in boards is quite scarce.
