About This Item
Cassell & Co. Ltd. London. 1913 (Ist Edition Thus). 8vo, X, 318pp. Hardcover in worn red cloth boards with black print title and design on front board, with a weak though intact spine (hinging present to the front board) in fair condition with discoloured edges and foxing to rear board, text is in fair condition on well tanned paper with a neat prior owner's name written on ffep. Edward Phillips Oppenheim was an English novelist and prolific writer of best-selling genre fiction, featuring glamorous characters, international intrigue and fast action, actually featured on the front cover of Times magazine in 1927. This now age-weary book is no exception.
