Primo Levi is considered one of the most important writers of the Shoah who had experienced the horrors of the Holocaust and yet was able to transform these agonies of persecution, torture and death for millions to an understanding and clarity which the rest of the world could attempt to understand. Angier devoted 10 years to researching and writing this comprehensive book of his life with respect and dignity.
