A unique attempt to recapture the experience of childhood by a woman who has made a life-long study of children, how they perceive, learn about, and respond to the world, the author embodying this knowledge into a personal memoir told in the third person; contains illustrations. Hardcover with dust jacket, 298pp., d.j. shows very light edgewear with one small closed edgetear to rear panel, interior of front board shows a small thin residue of bookplate. A very nice copy, the jacket nicely encased in an acid-free Brodart plastic protector. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
