unknown, 1937. Soft Cover. Very Good/No Dust Jacket. Size: 16mo (very small). Text unmarked . Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. Slight shelf-wear and bumping to corners. Authentic "Tijuana Bible". Undated (c 1937). 3" x 4 3/8". 8-page stapled booklet featuring erotic parody of Dorothy Lamour (famous for her appearances in the "Road to..." movies with Bing Crosby and Bob Hope). Story features Lamour and Jon Hall (putting this bible at around 1937, the year "The Hurricane" - directed by John Ford - was released). In the story Lamour is concerned that Jon Hall's valuable tool is going to become sunburned so she does everything she can to keep it out of the sun. Peach/pink cover stock. Interior pages printed double-sided showing. Interior printing shows some drop out in the heavy black areas and some foxing and faint staining. Cover one-piece wraparound but splitting at the hinge. Some soiling to cover and nick to top edge. Slight corrosion to staple. Very difficult to find originals of these. Illustrator: unknown. Quantity Available: 1. Shipped Weight: Under 8 ounces.
