The book is held together with a gold coloured tie. A small book of poetry by C. J. Dennis, who continues the tale of the Sentimental Bloke as a married man, and about his wife Doreen. No publication date easily found, except that there is a gift inscription dated Xmas 1917. Creasing to the book corners and to the book itself. Rubbing of the book edges and panels with handling marks and stains to the front and rear panel, most noticeably to the rear panel – please see photograph.
