About This Item
London: The Dome (Yukon) Gold Mining Company Limited, 1900. Oblong quarto (22 X 26.5 cm.) Printed in black with a very simple decoration, on one side only. Issued for 25 shares of 150,000 total. It seems most people buy 20 to 50 shares thinking they will become rich! Not Canceled. Company seal on the bottom left and usual signatures of two company directors and the secretary. Few old fold lines but otherwise a nice example. I assume the name originated from Midnight Dome which is the mountain behind Dawson City. The purchaser was in the UK and I have no idea if the Company ever did anything or pay out any dividends or not, Still uncommon and a very good example with an interesting name. 1900
