Chicago, IL: The S. J. Clarke Publishing Company, 1913 Three-Quarter Leather with marbled text block, paste downs and endpapers. Volume I:432pp. Tips are missing. Leather portions are dry, flaky and heavily rubbed. Spine is heavily rubbed. Spine head has half-inch detachments from the boards. Spine heel has a half inch detachment from the front board. Boards have small paint stains, including the rear board leather. Lower edge of front board has a few small holes. Fore edge of boards are bumped. Spine is cocked. Fore edge of text block has a few small stains. Volume II: 494pp. Tips and spine ends are rubbed. Leather portions have varying degrees of rubbing. Boards have a few scratches. Spine is cocked. Boards have a bend. Former owner stamps on second endpaper. A few pages have light smudges near the fore edge. Tissue is toned from the frontispiece. Book has a bend. . Hardcover. Fair/No Dust Jacket.
