About This Item

New York: Harper & Brothers, 1869. Hardcover. Fine. A fine copy. Unusual to find in this condition. Previous owner name on front free end paper dated 1894. Green cloth over boards with gilt lettering. Illustrated with engravings. A mystery that was not listed in the original Hubin. I don't know if it is now. 8 pages of publishers ads in rear. Scarce!

Strong runs in literature, mystery fiction, vintage paperbacks from 40's, 50's and 60's. Partial to scholarly non=fiction but also nice runs on the Civil War and the Two Word Wars.
