About This Item

Chicago: E.B. Myers and Chandler, 1867. Leather. Good. Full red leather. 132 pp., plus ads. A work explaining Swedenborg's ideas on the biblical concept of New Jerusalem, and how those ideas could form the basis of new spiritual teachings, many of which would serve as the basic tenets of the New Church. Emanuel Swedenborg was a theologian and mystic, with some of his ideas touching on the occult. GOOD condition. Heavy darkening to the spine, with moderate scuffing along the extremities. Minor soiling. Moderate toning to the interior.
