The six stories in Doctor DogbodyÕs Leg are set in a Portsmouth tavern called the Cheerful Tortoise, where a Royal Navy surgeon tells a series of stories about how he lost his leg during the Napoleonic wars. Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards chose these books as among those few he would take to a desert island. Free of any markings, not ex-library. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .
