Publishers original tan cloth, lettered in gilt on the spine, lg 8vo. Cooper Ornithological Club Pacific Coast Avifauna number 27. A thorough monograph by Joseph Grinnell, one of Californias best-known naturalists. Name stamp of the Ron Sauey Memorial Library on rear endpaper and top page edge, empty pocket on rear endpaper, no other institutional marks to the text or cloth binding. Ron Sauey was co-founder of the International Crane Foundation, Baraboo, Wisconsin.
