This is a hard-to-find Avon edition of LeGuin's Hugo and Nebula Award-winning saga of two planets and the visionary man who tried to unite them.
The mass market paperback version was published by Avon Books in July, 1975 and quickly went back to press several times. This copy is from is the 5th printing.
This crisp and clean copy is in very good shape for its age. There are a few minor nicks to the front cover and the pages are somewhat yellowed - but the spine in uncracked and the binding is tight.
Synopsis
The Dispossessed: An Ambiguous Utopia is a 1974 utopian science fiction novel by Ursula K. Le Guin, set in the same fictional universe as that of The Left Hand of Darkness. The book won the Nebula Award in 1974, both the Hugo and Locus Awards in 1975, and received a nomination for the John W. Campbell Memorial Award in 1975. It is also notable for achieving a degree of literary recognition unusual for science fiction works.
