There are 39 places set for at a triangular table, each for a woman of distinction. Includes such women as Eleanor of Aquitaine, Snake Goddess, Sacajawea, Mary Wolstonecraft, Margaret Sanger, Virginia Woolf, and Georgia O'Keefe amomg the accomplished guests. There are lightly pencilled notations made to the rear cover. Internally clean, with shorts biographical descriptions of each guest. A cool piece of feminist and art history..

A preeminent artist, author, feminist, and educator, Judy Chicago’s work and life have been devoted to expanding women’s presence in the arts and in art history. Her art is frequently exhibited in the United States and internationally. The Dinner Party is her best-known work.
