Historical introduction by Editor George P. Hammond. Edition limited to 1250 un-numbered copies, designed and printed by Lawton and Alred Kennedy of San Francisco. Gilt spine titling. Illustrated cloth. 9" x 13". Includes twenty-one letters written by artist/financier Daniel Wadsworth Coit (1787-1876) to his wife, from February 10, 1848 to December 13, 1851.
