Venice: Cesarem Arriuabenum Venetum, 1518. Hardcover (Vellum). Very Good Condition. [16], 143, [1] ff. (8vo) 14.2x9.5 cm. Full early vellum with minor repairs and wear to the spine, a bit of worming to blanks. An attractive early copy of Bonaventure writing on salvation. Saint Bonaventure was canonized in 1482, but not made a Doctor of the Church until 1588. Notes to title, endpapers, and occasionally in the margins, all in an early hand. Attractively printed with historiated initials, a few small brown spots, but generally quite clean. Worldcat shows only 5 copies in institutional collections. Size: Octavo (8vo).
