Pp. 1-20, 126-136, 57-84; one foldout plates, numerous text-figures. Extract (no wrappers), with original staples on the spine, lg 8vo. Mitteilungen aus dem Zoologischen Staatsinstitut und Zoologischen Museum in Hamburg, volume 42 and 44. This work documents the fishes collected on a two-year expedition to German Melanesia and to the Caroline and Marshall Islands in Micronesia. The text is in German. No ownership marks though there is a number written on the front cover of Part 1. Rare work.
