Schweizerbart'sche Verlagsbuchhandlung (Stuttgart, Germany), 9 x 11 7/8 inches tall stapled paperbound in brown printed wraps, 47 pp. plus six full-page photographic plates on heavy stock. Creasing to bottom of book. Inscribed and signed by the author at the top of the front cover. Prior owner name to front cover, which is edgeworn and has tape repairs to spine. Minor age-toning to paper. Otherwise, a very good copy. Note that this is an oversized book, so additional postage will be required for international or priority orders. ~SSS~ Association copy: The prior owner, Craig Black (1932-1998), was a respected Vertebrate Paleontologist and Professor who served as Curator and later Director of Carnegie Museum of National History, and from 1982 until his retirement in 1994, Director of the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County.
