Bookplate of the late Col. De Guinzbourg of the United Nations, a known collector of proverbs, quotes, and adages. Signed by the publisher on verso of half-title. Pages lightly foxed with trimmed edges [not affecting text], early ownership signature on title page; light wear to boards and spine but o/w a very good copy. An A-Z Collection of Etymological, Historical and Anecdotal Dictionary of Proverbs and proverbial expressions of the French language.
