About This Item

Suffolk: Antique Collectors Club Ltd., 1991. Cloth. Near Fine/Very Good Indeed. 11" by 8.5". None. An uncommon edition of The Dictionary of Victorian Painters, volume IV of the 'Dictionary of British Art' series. Written by Christopher Wood, this exhaustive catalogue lists artists alphabetically, and contains information on both their work and lives. The final 227 pages are photographic plates, acting as reproduction of artists' work. In cloth binding with gilt detailing and original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally very smart, there is some wear to the boards and minor rubbing to extremities. The dustwrapper has some chipping and creasing to to the extremities, as well as a small mark and the remnants of a small sticker to flyleaf. Internally, the pages are firmly bound and are bright and clean throughout. Near Fine
