Scarce edition. Illustrated with seven maps, most of which are in colour over a double page spread. Collated complete. French to English and English to French dictionary for language study on the go. Written by John Bellows, a prolific English writer, polymath, printer and lexicographer. In the original full morocco binding. Externally, smart with light shelf wear and rubbing to the extremities. Minor loss to the rear joint. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean. Contemporary ink inscription to the first few pages. Very Good Indeed

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
