About This Item
London: Bickers & Son, 1906. New edition in 4 volumes to which are added a selection from his familiar letters, and the private correspondence between King Charles I and Sir Edward Nicholas and between Sir Edward Hyde (Afterwards Earl of Clarendon) and Sir Richard Browne, 8vo, 299pp, 491pp, 487pp, 497pp, green cloth lettered gilt; illustrated; Vols 1-3 have general wear and tear and markings, with rubbing to spine hinges etc but remain just about respectable, Vol 4 however has had the misfortune to be laid against something exceedingly damp which has wrecked the cloth of the upper board; not the best of sets but acceptable and priced down to account for the tsunami; no DJs of course. New Edition. Hard Cover. Fair/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
