About This Item

357 Pages. Inscribed and signed by the author on the Title page. First edition by the full number line. The dust jacket is Not price-clipped.
This is a biography of a female tycoon, Miriam Leslie, and the world in which she worked back in the Gilded Age. She ran the country's largest publishing company and was embroiled in scandals, was married four times, and harbored unsavory secrets through many deceptions. All in all, it is a very interesting look at the Gilded Age of the US. The book's dust jacket would be in Fine condition but there are three corners with light wearing marks on them and two edges also with wearing marks on them. The interior book, however, is in Fine condition with no visible extraneous markings, detriments, or other distractions throughout it and thus has all of its printing and photographs in a very well-preserved and enjoyable condition and the book's bindings remain tight and therefore are sound.
If you should order this interesting book from us, it will be carefully wrapped up, then padded and boxed, and mailed right away to you, and will come with our true appreciation for your order.
