Simon and Schuster, 1934. Hardcover. Good. 1934. First Edition. 286 pages. No dust jacket. Burgundy cloth. Blind stamp decoration and fake diamond to front. Includes 22 black & white plates. Pages remain bright and clear with minimal tanning and foxing. Pencil inscription to front endpaper. Binding remains firm. Top text block edge dyed blue, with small water drops. Plates are bright and clear, with some light tanning and foxing to edges. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Noticeable tanning to spine and edges with some crushing to spine ends. Spine label is slightly peeling. Book has a slight forward lean.
