New York: Albert & Charles Boni, 1927. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. Signed by Author(s). 1st Edition. Very clean first edition, nicely inscribed association copy SIGNED by the author. Clean beige cloth boards with black lettering on cover and spine. Light wear to spine corners. Binding is tight and square, hinges are sound. No previous owner bookplates or markings. Inscribed and signed by the author on front free endpaper: "Inscribed for Margaret Gray whom the author recalls with pleasure as a student and even more as an artist in things outside classes. - Robert P. Tristram Coffin." All pages are clean except for brown shadow to a blank end page where two poems by the author have been laid in ("A Fire at Night" and separately, "Drawing Water.") 51 pages..
