Orig. published in 1929 by Harper & Bros, this is a later reprint from Blue Ribbon Books, identical in content, with 150 illustrations from original sources. Hardcover book has blue cloth-covered boards with faded lettering to spine. Condition is solidly Good: generally very clean, but pages are heavily foxed around edges & tanned overall, but unmarked. Text block secure, but binding cracked at half-title page. Summary of contents pasted inside front cover, causing discoloration to facing ffep.
