Tiny nicks to lower spine & board corners (slightly larger at lower corner of rear board); interior browned & foxed w/ 1-inch pale brown stain down fore-edge of opening 20 pgs. or so, not obscuring text. Otherwise vg condition for its age, pgs. not brittle or edge-worn, binding quite tight, exterior & endpapers minimally worn. 412 pp. A collection, published just 2 years after the author's death, of essays on several 17th-century ethical and religious issues, mostly defending the Quakers (Society of Friends).
