With 8 total plates including a map frontis Vol. I, a chart, a facsimile document, a building view, and 4 plan plates. Prior owner name and "Palazzetto Borghese, 1847" front end page Vol. I. Very Good, boards soiled, moderate toning to end pages, internally clean and bright. Originally published in London in 1820, and SCARCE in either edition, and especially so finely bound. A travel guide and history of Rome. . SIGNED. Second Edition. Vellum. Very Good/No Jacket, As Issued. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Advance Uncorrected Proof.
