Large Octavo. 330 pages, 80 illustrations and a map. Bound in grey cloth-covered boards stamped in black and blue. Top edge gilt, edges untrimmed.
Condition: Spine shows light soiling, a crease down the center and ends show a little bumping. Vignette on front cover shows minor color loss to the blue. Gilt on top edge is a little dulled and uncut edges show their age. Front pastedown has an "ex-libris Bristow" surrounding the Bristow family coat of arms printed on it, previous owner's name (Wm. R. Manning) and address on FFE. Minor foxing scattered throughout, mostly on illustrations.
