Paris: Librairie de la Noblesse et des Beaux-Arts. no date [c. 1880]. No edition stated, but presumed first edition (hardback). Folio (41cm x 32cm), [vii], 40pp, 100 colour plates (collated complete), each accompanied by a page of text. Recently rebound in quarter grey morocco, grey cloth boards, burgundy title label to the spine, top edge gilt. This book was formerly in a reference library, with a discreet blindstamp to the margins of each plate, and there is some light chafing to the edges of the preliminary pages; overall, this book is in good to very good condition. Text in French.
