The collection comprises 17 series of plates: "Montants des trophes des armes, Escusons entres de Cerures,Lambris a la Francoise,Quart de Plafonds,Nouveaux Ornemens ou Plafons,Trophees de Armes a la Romaine,trophees de Armes antiques et moderne,Engles de Plafonss de Gallerie,Bordures de Tableau,Chemines a la Romaine,Chemines a la Italienne, Sepultures et Epitaphes,Tombeaux de Mozoles 1661,Tabernacles pour ornes et embellir les Autels,Placarts ou ornemens pour chambres et Alcobes,Nouvelles inventionis pour les Banes,portal de Eglise Italienne. Plates with ink number on right corner. Jean le Pautre( 1618-82) was the most important architectural designer during Louis XIV reign.Plates by le Blond and Pierre Mariette, these plates were of great influence in the decorative arts along Europe during the XVII and XVIII century establishing " le gout a la francaise". - Some plates specially at the end with some milde spots, otherwise good.
