About This Item
Circa 1930s two volume hardcover set as pictured. A well made edition of the Gibbon classic in nice condition given its age. Bindings are firm. Blue cloth boards with gold and red stamping in the typical Modern Library pattern are bright and show only light edge wear. Endpapers and text are age tanned but appear otherwise clean and unmarked. Dust jackets are rubbed and lightly soiled with small tears and chips at edges. Price includes extra mailing charges due to weight. Your purchase helps support our small village library. s OD4
