This novel follows the murder of Mr Richard Dodley, an owner of a second-hand bookshop and is the final novel to feature the detective protagonist Francis MacNab. In the publisher's original cloth. Externally smart with a slight lean, fading and spotting to the spine, marks to the boards, rubbing to the joints and bumping, rubbing and slight wear to the extremities. Scattered spotting and light offsetting to the free endpapers. Internally firmly bound with generally bright pages with spotting throughout. Very Good

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
