About This Item

London: Gollancz, 2011. First Edition, First Printing. Hardback. Fine/Fine. The Book is fine, square and tight. It has clean pages which are unmarked and is free of rips or tears. It has been signed by the author directly on to the title page. The page edges show the normal slight yellowing from ageing and paper quality. The Dust Jacket is fine, unfaded, unclipped (£16.99) and is free from rips or tears. There is a round promotional self adhesive label attached to the front face which states 'The new Sookie Stackhouse novel: Now the HBO original series True Blood'. First Edition, First Printing - Signed by the author. All our books are covered with a clear, removable, chemically inert, protective wrapper before being securely bubble wrapped and dispatched in strong corrugated cardboard boxes.

Since Sam Merlotte is now known to be two-natured, suspicion falls immediately on the anti-shifters in the area. Sookie suspects otherwise, but her attention is divided when she realizes that her lover, Eric Northman, and his “child” Pam are plotting to kill the vampire who is now their master. Gradually, Sookie is drawn into the plot—which is much more complicated than she knows. Caught up once again in the politics of the vampire world, Sookie will learn that she is as much of a pawn as any ordinary human—and that there is a new queen on the board….
