A very pretty collectable copy and surprisingly uncommon in high-grade.

Light edge and corner wear on the dustjacket but with a chip from the lower edge of the front panel and some scratching on the front. Review copy with the review slip dropped in. A young metallurgist is run down on an unfenced works railway. A commonplace accident - or did he, as the driver insists, throw himself on the track under the engine? An uneasiness grows when one of the clerical staff attempts suicide by an overdose of sleeping pills. Again, no motive is apparent. Warnings of trouble still to reach its climax in further violent death....
