New York: Burr Printing House, 1902 270 pages. Gift inscription to half-title page, otherwise the book is clean and unmarked. Front free endpaper is partially torn. Cloth binding is just lightly worn at the extremities. Sarah and her family began their journey on May 1, 1865, in Missouri and arrived at their destination in Virginia City, Montana Territory, on September 6. She first published her journal at the request of friends in a local newspaper, the "Rocky Mountain Husbandman," in the early 1880s. This is the first book publication. Size: 8vo. First Edition.. Brown Cloth. Very Good Plus.
