Bookplate in front "Dragan Plamenac, Music Library, Yale University" indicates from his collection (we have verified that this copy was de-acquisitioned by Yale). As new except for slight softening of spine ends. 268 indexed, annotated pages with 48 monochromatic plates and fold-out map. The dust jacket is intact but badly frayed at top and bottom edges and has been tape repaired. "A historical picture of life and society in thirteenth-century Italy..." by an expert ton medieval music.
