Belonging to Richard Long's and Gilbert & George's generation, British artist David Tremlett began creating his wall drawings at the end of the 1960s. One of the peculiarities of his art is his penchant for open spaces and non-conventional places, which led him to accept even the gradual deterioration of his works. His extremely personal chromatic palette is the outcome of various travels, and of the exposure to different cultures, which resulted in the realization of several projects and collaborations all over the world. The present publication collects drawings, site-specific projects, as well as a series of photos documenting the event hosted at Galleria G7 in Bologna in 2008.
