Award House, New York (1966), 1966. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. Octavo, hardcover, near fine in VG price-clipped black dj, with hint of edgewear. Well preserved from the 60's. First printing. Introduction by Robin Moore, the author of The Green Berets. Lucas reported mostly from "south of the Bassac" in the Mekong Delta. Soc Trang, Bac Lieu, Can Tho, Hao Hao and other areas. Great reports about the Americans, Huey Pilots, Black Ponies, the MACV Advisors and the RFPF troops we served with. He won The Pulitzer Prize for his reporting. Robin Moore worked with him in the Delta.
