Reading, PA: Fantasy Press, 1948. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Fine/Very Good. 8vo.,310pp. Beautiful Stated First Edition of the Trade Issue, bound in green cloth with spine titles in gilt. Illustrated end-papers. Square, tight and clean throughout with little or no wear, toning or foxing, A touch perhaps on the bottom edges but quite minor. Very attractive unclipped dust-jacket, ($3.00), has some nicks and wear to edges and tips. Light soiling to rear panel. Still fresh and bright with no creases or tears. A very pretty collectable copy at a great price.
Synopsis
Darker Than You Think is a science-fiction novel by the American writer Jack Williamson, published by Fantasy Press in 1948. It was first issued as a novelette in the magazine Unknown in 1940. The novel was notably reprinted by Orion Books in 2003 as volume 38 of their Fantasy Masterworks series.
