London: Chapman & Hall, 1927. 1st Edition. Black Cloth. Very Good/Very Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" Large. No Illustrations. 191pp. A very scarce first edition copy with wrapper ( 1927). Bound in black cloth with gilt embossed lettering to the spine. There is a light bump to the head and tail of the spine and faint stain marks to the front board - visible only in certain lights.The book has the slightest of spine lean. Textblock is fresh and clean. Dust wrapper is not price clipped with slight toning to the spine of the wrapper. There is slight chipping to the head of the spine of the wrapper and a slight chip to one corner at the tail of the spine of the wrapper. No loss of text from the spine of the wrapper. Slight rubbing to the corners of the wrapper - which remains clean and tight. A very good copy of this first edition.
