About This Item
London: Secker, 1916. First edition. Hardcover. Cloth slightly torn and frayed at head of back-strip. Else good copy. 8vo. Black cloth with red titling. Pp. 320. Spottiswoode imprint on page 317 with three pages of ads at end. This is actually the second state of this book, because all but a few of the first were destroyed in a warehouse fire. Further, this copy once belonged to Roger Senhouse's who added notes in pencil on the first free end-paper. Senhouse was a close friend of Lytton Strachey.
