First edition thus with single date of March 1932 appearing on the copyright page. Black cloth boards to red text on spine. Front board has damage in the lower right corner where the cloth is splitting from the outside edge. Front pastedown has the author's personal bookplate and the opposite end page shows a 1933 gift inscription from the author, which is signed only as " Ken" (which was common with this author). Foxing is noted, mainly on the end pages and exterior edges.

The author was apparently staying in Interlaken, NJ while writing this book but, other than that, I cannot find other information about the Thomas, other than this title is scarce. Signed presentation from Thomas on the front endpaper: "For my friend, George, with respect and admiration for his work. Ken, Freehold Court, July 1934." With the author's bookplate on the front endpaper. Very Good (covers bright but heavy bump to upper corner of rear cover, also causing bumping to the text). $150.00.
