About This Item
Philadelphia, PA: John C. Winston, 1953. 1st Edition. Soft cover. Very Good. Very scarce softcover edition of this juvenile science fiction novel from Evan Hunter, under the pseudonym: Richard Marsten. Stated first edition, in stiff wrappers bearing original dust jacket illustration, though 29 titles are listed on the back, so a later state back panel. Probably a military base issue, though has been thought to be a proof. Regardless, this issue is very hard to find. Very good in wraps with considerable rubbing to edges of spine. Laid in is an Evan Hunter signature clipped from a glossy dust jacket flap.
