Former owner's name and brief incsription inside front cover. Paper spine label worn and toned. Slight wear to cloth at top of backstrip. Text untrimmed. A solid, internally clean copy with 24 wonderfully wry color plates. Based on the 1817 edition published by R. Ackermann. One of the more illusive titles in the Dr. Syntax series. First thus. Good+.. Hardcover. Good+/Not Issued. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
